About Speech, Language and Literacy Center, Inc.
Speech, Language and Literacy Center provides services to assess and treat pre-school and school-age children with communication delays. Some impairments treated include language-learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, apraxia of speech, language delays and articulation/phonological delays. Currently, office hours are by appointment only.
In addition to traditional speech-language pathology services, adult foreign accent reduction is also offered, using the Compton P-ESL program.
About the Speech-Language Pathologists
Tina Kunarski, Ed.S., CCC-SLP holds a B.A. in Audiology and Speech Sciences and an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Michigan State University. She also holds an Educational Specialist Certificate in Special Education Administration from Wayne State University and a State of Michigan Teaching Certificate.
Additional speech-language pathologists are available. All are fully licensed by the State of Michigan and hold Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
